01Our purpose

Built around the person, not the paperwork

ACES addresses the barriers that affect both life and work — so participants can strengthen their well-being, discover their potential, and move toward independence.

Our mission

Alliance Community and Employment Services creates pathways of hope, healing, and opportunity for individuals with disabilities and underserved community members through employment support, mental health services, education, and personalized guidance. By addressing the barriers that impact both life and work, ACES empowers participants to strengthen their well-being, discover their potential, and move toward independence, dignity, and meaningful success.

Our vision

ACES envisions a future where individuals with disabilities and underserved community members have the wraparound support needed to thrive in life, work, and community. By connecting employment, mental health, education, advocacy, family support, and community resources, ACES works to build an inclusive society where every participant can live with dignity, independence, purpose, and lasting success.

04How it works

Three steps, and we stay past the third

Most programs stop at placement. Ours does not — follow-up is where a job becomes a career.
  1. 01

    Pre-career training session

Our pre-career training session is designed to equip individuals with the essential skills and confidence needed to enter the workforce.

  2. 02

    Interviews and job placement

We support our clients through every step of the job search process — from preparing for interviews to securing the right position. Our team works closely with inclusive employers to match individuals with disabilities to roles that suit their skills, interests, and career goals.

  3. 03

    Follow up

Our commitment doesn't end after job placement. We provide ongoing follow-up support to ensure every individual settles comfortably into their new role.

What people say about ACES

Participants, parents, and employer partners, in their own words.
  • I had been searching for work for months without success. With ACES' help, I not only found a job but also one that matched my skills and interests. Their team guided me through the application process, prepared me for interviews, and supported me every step of the way.

  • As a parent, I can truly say that Mr. Nelson cared for my son as if he were his own brother, and that compassion made all the difference. My son worked at HomeGoods for three years, but when he lost his job due to transportation issues, I went back to Vocational Rehabilitation and specifically asked to work with Mr. Nelson again. He helped place my son in a new position that he now loves and sees as a true career opportunity, and he continues to grow in his independence.

  • Before ACES, I wasn't sure what kind of job I could do. Through their pre-placement training and mentoring, I learned how to communicate better, practice interview skills, and build my confidence. Now I'm working part-time and planning for my future.
