Who we are

Alliance Community and Employment Services, Inc. (ACES) is a nonprofit organization serving Miami-Dade and Broward County, Florida. This policy explains what information we collect through acesmiami.org, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

We collect information you enter into forms on this site. That includes your name and email address, and — depending on the form — your phone number, the subject of your enquiry, your message, and any voice recording you choose to attach.

Our Summer Camp registration form additionally collects the name and age of the child attending, an emergency contact, preferred camp location and weeks, and any allergies or medical, behavioral, or support needs you tell us about.

Information about children

Camp registration information about a child is provided by a parent or guardian. We use it only to operate the camp safely and to contact you about your child's place. We do not use children's information for marketing, and we do not sell it.

Sensitive information

Some of the information participants share with us — including disability, medical, and benefits information — is sensitive. We treat it as confidential, share it only with the staff and partner organizations directly involved in delivering your services, and retain it only as long as our programs and funders require.

Please do not send sensitive medical details through the AI assistant on this site. Use the contact form, phone, or email instead.

How we use your information

To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you ask for; to arrange and run programs, camps, and events; to send you updates if you have subscribed to our newsletter; and to meet reporting obligations to funders and regulators.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it with service providers who help us operate the site and our programs, with your Vocational Rehabilitation counselor or Employment Network where that is part of the service you have asked for, and where the law requires it.

Newsletter and marketing

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly. Unsubscribing does not affect any services you receive from ACES.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses only what is necessary to function. Embedded maps and any embedded video are loaded from third parties, and are only loaded when you interact with them.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and change the date shown at the top.
